Symphony Orchestra (February 2010)
AED honored new and expanding businesses in
conjunction with a performance by the NMSO.
Representatives from new and expanding companies
and event sponsors were honored during the performance
and reception.
- VIP Weekend, Albuquerque
International Balloon Fiesta (October 2009)
AED hosted a VIP Weekend event to introduce
representatives from various companies to Albuquerque
during the AIBF. In attendance were those considering
the Albuquerque area as a site for their business'
expansion.

- Bridging the Gap
Conference - NM Optics (January 2010)
AED staff attended this event, which
explored New Mexico's growing directed energy
technology industry and its impact to the state
and local economy.
- Increment of One
Conference (February 2010)
Bernalillo County created the Increment
of One initiative to encourage
and support small businesses to grow their enterprise
one job at a time.
- Global
New Energy Summit Santa Fe, NM (March 2010)
This conference brought together industry
representatives and experts to explore developing
energy technologies and initiatives.
- CoreNet Global
Summit New Orleans, LA (April 2010)
CoreNet, which is aimed at corporate real estate
professionals and site selection consultants,
was an excellent forum for marketing the Albuquerque
area for expansion and relocation.
- Industrial Asset
Management Council Colorado
Springs, CO (April 2010)
AED attended this event to network with corporate
real estate representatives and site selection
consultants as well as economic development
professionals. Albuquerque will be the host
location for this prestigious event in the Spring
of 2011.
- Intersolar Munich,
Germany (June 2010)
Intersolar is the world's largest solar industry
trade show. During the event, Fraunhofer, VDE
Testing & Certification and CSA (Canadian
Standards Association) held a press conference
to announce the selection of Albuquerque for
the CFV
Solar Test Lab and Fraunhofer R&D facility.
Combined, both projects represent 35 high-tech,
green jobs.

Consultant Forum San Francisco, CA (June 2010)
The Consultant Forum brings together site selectors,
real estate professionals and economic developers
to discuss current issues and trends affecting
the site selection process.
